For Sarah, her journey began with a strong foundation in business management and a robust financial background, along with a lifelong love for animals.. Sarah took her love, passion, knowledge, and years of experiencein in the business world and used them to open the Dayton Doggie Dude Ranch!
However, Sarah’s true passion lies in focusing her efforts on helping to break down the barriers and stigmas that surround mental health. It is vital that discussing mental health concerns becomes as easy and natural as discussing our physical health. Yet, the stereotypes that hinder these conversations are especially prevalent in professional environments and rural communities. The more we openly talk about mental health issues, the more we can work together to normalize these important discussions and promote understanding.
Therein lies the basis behind forming the Best Friend Project, bringing the love of animals, knowledge of business, and passion for advocating for mental health awareness together into something that has helped benefit multiple people by allowing them to enter treatment without fear of losing their “Best Friends”.

So, what does being a mental health advocate have to do with being an agent? Everything!
Sarah’s philosophy is that every person is inherently worthy, just by being born, and will be treated as such in her presence.
That is the central focus of her value statement and a guiding principle that consistently informs how she conducts herself and manages her business interactions. No two individuals are exactly alike; no two people will be experiencing the same kind of day, and no two people will possess the same type of personality. Additionally, no two individuals will find themselves in the same emotional mood, but despite these differences, all people inherently hold equal value and worth. This fundamental belief leads her to advocate that everyone deserves equal and respectful service, regardless of their unique circumstances.
In her free time
Sarah is a proud mother and grandmother that enjoys spending time with her ever-growing family and adventures in the outdoors! Camping, boating, and off-roading are amoung their favorite activities.
Who knew that being called a “grandma” could be so rewarding? Watching her granchildren learn and grown has been the best gift life could give, and she cherishes every minute she spends with them. That is what she loves most.
